I wish I could describe the world's ugliest tie to you. I'll try, but it's not going to sound ugly enough. I just know it. It was, first and foremost, wholly and completely, ochre. There were shiny tone on tone squares every so often, and they were too big and too far apart to do anyone any good. Bad, bad, bad.

I've got one of my bad headaches, so I'll probably just be watching and lurking for the most part.

It was awfully nice not to have to drag myself to work with the headache. Instead of getting up to go to the gym, I slept until 10:30 and then just stayed in sweats all day and got a lot done setting up my home office. My software and printer have arrived, just waiting for the computer.

I'm going to be doing freelance work. Eventually I'll also have an office where Nancy's office is, but she won't be ready to hire me for a while yet. Even once I start working for her, I'll continue to do freelance work, so I really needed a home office anyway. As soon as my computer arrives, I'll be ready for anything that comes my way. I actually got my first project today from someone I used to work with who also got let go (she worked for my company and then the company we merged with, so we were going to be working together again and then both got let go).
