I went to bed at 4 a.m. One of the advantages of not having to get up at stupid o'clock for work. I got up around 9 and went to the gym. I can't believe I'm not tired.

I've been living vicariously through my frind Carole, who has finally made it to London after too many years. She went by herself, for a week. She's already seen Ray Davies perform, interviewed Paul Weller (the point of the trip), and stood on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall. That was the in the first two days. I wish I could be there, in her head, to see it all through her eyes. We're all kvelling. Our little girl is all grown up.

If you need a fantasy world, I'd suggest that one.
