How Muffster Got Her Snark Back

Hey, gang:

I wanted to thank you all SO much for helping me through the pits of depression yesterday. Today, fortunately, things are turning around. I got the names of several temp agencies that Boeing and Starbucks use here in town, and I’m going to apply there as soon as the temp job I’m currently doing ends. I’ve been told by folks at both places that they regularly hire their temps, so this may be a good “back door” way to get in at these places. We’ll see!

Most importantly…I fired off my “application” for the internship I’m interested in. It’s with a celebrity and media blog. The main draw here is that it has lots of writing opportunities, and is quite snarky in its tone. Yup…right up my alley! I have no idea if I even stand a chance, but if you don’t try, you lose your whining privileges, right?

I really appreciate your kind words yesterday. This whole thing has been so stressful and depressing, on a lot of different levels. You’ll never know how much your friendship means to me!
