Hickey Causes 44-Year-Old Woman to Have a Stroke

http://www.aolhealth.com/2011/01/24/hickey-causes-stroke/

Doctors at Middlemore Hospital in New Zealand recently treated the only documented case of a hickey-related stroke.

That's right, the little suction on the neck that women and men in the throes of passion sometimes give to each other, actually caused a
woman to have a stroke.

A 44-year-old Maori woman was brought to the Aukland hospital with a paralyzed left arm, which initially left doctors stumped until they
noticed there had been a clot on the right side of her neck beneath a hickey, ABC News reported.

The woman's lover had apparently sucked a little too hard on an artery located in her neck.
