She is quoted in the article as saying that she and her husband didn't get married because they loved each other. Rather, she said that they each had a "vision" from God at the same time, even though they lived very far apart (and didn't really even know each other well, if I remember correctly) so they knew they were supposed to get married. :crazy:

And you're right: Jose Baez is certainly no Johnnie Cochoran - not even close. Did you know he's only been a lawyer for 5 years and he's trying a capital murder case? Yikes!!

As for Judge Perry, I really like him. He seems to be really fair, but I can tell when he's getting really impatient with Baez.

31. I am fascinated by the psychological aspects of it.

Casey Anthony is a serial liar. She waited 31 days to say anything about her little girl missing. 31 days??? I would have freaked if my daughter were missing for 31 minutes at the age of 2! The defense says Casey was abused by her father and her brother, but nether has been questioned about it by the defense. The only questions to come up related to that were from the prosecution. The defense also says that Caylee, the little girl who died, drowned in the family pool and her grandfather hid her body. They haven't really asked the grandfather about that thus far. Oh, and Casey orignally said her Nanny (a nanny who didn't exist) kidnapped her daughter.

Weird, weird trial!

Hoping it keeps me occupied while Cassie's gone. Wish Casey would take the stand. How can you go dancing when your child is (kidnapped/drowned/killed)? Makes my head hurt.

the prosecution gets to put on their rebuttal case, so I'm sure it will continue to occupy you, at least for part of the time Miss Cassie is gone.
