Rupert's performance was condescending and contradictory. When he wasn't hiding behind the police investigation or his son, he was very much in charge. I don't believe for a second that he doesn't know where every dime he's ever made is.

15. Here's my take:

With the Republicans having the majority in the House, they have to be listened to (even though, like you, I find it extremely frustrating!). In the case of the debt ceiling, I think Obama has been doing a pretty good job of helping the Republicans show the country that it is them who are being obstructionist and showing how they are very willing to let the US (and world) economy collapse because of their stubbornness. As the poll KO showed a little earlier in the show, almost 50% of Republicans (the Jane and John Q Public Republicans) see that it's the Republican politicians who are to blame for the current mess.
