Poll question: How will we know when Keith has spent TOO much time away from Countdown?
Edited on Sat Aug-27-05 11:57 AM by BerryBush
OK, so it's hard to begrudge a man his vacation time, especially after what Keith's been through. But because of what he's been through, every time we don't see Keith asking us which news stories we'll be talking about tomorrow, the main one we end up talking about is "Where's Keith?" And speculating/worrying about the possibilities.

So, to leaven all this anxiety with a little humor, the latest KOEB poll asks you: How will we know when Keith has REALLY spent too much time away from Countdown?

2. It is a working vacation so Keith's vacations don't actually count
Do you think my boss will go along with that Bushism?

4. It's a thought, dmordue.
I mean, let's look first at Keith. When he really is on vacation, is he really on vacation? Not always. Sometimes he blogs, and other times he's on the many Internets reading other people's blogs and various news sites doing research for Countdown. So I guess you could say that he's just working oh, so very hard when he's on vacation.

Then again, when he moseys off to a baseball game it is a little harder for me to buy that "working vacation" bit.

You can always try it on your boss. Say that when you take time off work, you are usually so busy thinking about work and feeling guilty that you are not there that it is hardly a "real" vacation at all. So why can't you enjoy another week of it?
