2. Is it evil of me to gloat that this guy referred to Rita as "Crosby"

while criticizing all the time she spent "lounging improbably in Aruba"? Tee hee.

Well, it just goes to show that at least a few other people are seeing what we are seeing...that Keith has "major news anchor" written all over him...even if he'll never be considered as a candidate for one, even if it might not be good if he were because the major network suits would try to stuff him into the same old major-news-anchor casing into which the old ones were forced (half-hour show, all seriousness, no snark) in order to serve their aging, dying audience.

As for that video from Fox, I read about it on DU last night after it was over. Sadly can't watch it on crooksandliars because of the format. But people were marveling that even Faux News reporters were crying and upset about the situation at the Convention Center...while Sean Hannity was sticking to script and pretending everything was going to be JUUUUUUST FIIIIIIINE...please!

3. I wouldn't write off his chances of becoming an anchor for the

majors just yet. The broadcast networks are reluctantly starting to realize they need to do something different to get a younger audience. They might eventually come around to the conclusion that Keith is it. 'Course, that could take so long that a major upheaval might occur at CNN before then. Anything could happen. In the meantime, KO is refining his craft and is only going to be better at what he does when the time is ripe.
