Most of the shingles are gone, but the pain remains, and some itching. All tolerable, thru the miracle of ibuprofin. :hi:

Other than that, we're just trying to get our bearings around here. I'm still with Dad, and will return home later this week.

It will take a while to get your bearing, dad too. But allow yourselves to take all the time you need. I know you will hate leaving your dad, yet at the same time want to get home to your kitties. BTW, I figure your mom is up there with Roo wondering where the ferret came from. I'm sure they will explain all of it with out saying too much. :)
Sounds like the shingles are making their slow progress away. Glad they didn't get worse with the stress. From anything I have ever been told shingle's pain seems to linger. Me, I have to get some meds if I even think I was exposed to chicken pox cause I have never had them, and hear they are dangerous in an adult.

I love the drawbridge (great panorama), marina (the reflections are gorgeous!), dutch house (great color contrast), and old barn (this one is probably my favorite - it seems to tell a story).

7. Its been a rough contest already with

Well truthfully I would throw in Beau too, he is probably showing her around, explaining it all with his snark and making her laugh (while telling her it is best not to look in on your KO thoughts). Sometime if you want to hear the story of how Beau helped me I will pm it too you. It will make you feel better and I had a witness with me to help me believe it was not me going insane. But has to be when I have had more than a couple hours sleep.
I need to get to bed, the siding guys may show up tomorrow and my watch dogs, watch cats and watch birds will not allow me to sleep while strangers are banging on the house. The ferrets would sleep through if only the rest of the zoo crew would let us.
