Hi gang. No, Agent Mike didn't get me and I'm not at Gitmo. It has, however, been an insane week at work. I have had to tape Keith and then not had the energy to comment after the fact. Now that it's Saturday I can take a breath.
Of course, I can never catch up, so I will just make a few coments:
1. Keith just covered GREAT territory this past week. OK, the Island of Lost Luggage was a rerun and I'm not sure how he and Gidget thought they could phone that one in. But otherwise...what a bunch of shows. So...let the man talk baseball if he wants to, OK? This Barry Bonds thing is big. He can be forgiven.
2. Laura Ingraham. It is always good to see Keith work up a head of righteous anger and this time he did it in spades. Thanks, Keith, for that, and for restricting your "full disclosure" comments about her to "I've known her socially" rather than "I've known her biblically." (For his sake, let us hope the latter is NOT true. :scared:) Anyway, I will throw my j-school degrees into the mix if we in the KOEB are going to go mano a mano with her. Let me know the time and the place!
3. More cats, please. More cats! And more funny segues!
4. I am soooo proud of Cleveland for asking * tough questions.
5. Falafel...the dish that never runs out.
6. On Dan's show this past week, he's been jokingly blaming Keith for losing him listeners because of his "liberal" viewpoints. At the same time, he says more women are contacting his show saying they are now listening because Keith is on. Keith has tried to pose this as counteracting the effect of any listeners who may not like his politics. Dan is having none of it. But at least one guy called in and said he is a conservative and he thinks Dan and Keith getting back together is the best. Keith was quite grateful to hear that.
More women listening to Dan's show because of Keith? Gosh, who woulda thunk it? :evilgrin:
