doth speak the truth. And the truth shall set us free.

"A dispassionate look at an untenable situation because some people got in over their
heads and in some cases were less then truthful."

First Book of Carl Verse 10 ..... and he say it from the first church of Keith.

Come be Baptized in the waters of the Bleever Pond.

pit of fire. Only baptism in the Bleever Pond, and a full confession of his sins can save him now.

So he's toast.

I don't know what they're doing with the browser. A couple of weeks ago, I couldn't sign in on it either, but later in the day, voila, I could. I think they're having to make changes because of the merger w/AT&T.

:hi: OMG, in a little over one week, we'll be in NYC again! :bounce:

60. We've been having other issues the last few days
The computer can't seem to read the CD drives unless it's in safe mode. So, of course, hubby is fooling with it and causing more problems. He had to totally reload Windows 2000.

We can log into the browser because our passwords are set, but once we get to a site we can't type anything in the boxes unless it's on a drop-down list.

89. YOU NEED FIREFOX 1.5.0.2 -- there's been a recent security alert
under the "help" button (far right hand side of the pull-down menus) choose "About Mozilla Firefox" and it will tell you which version of Firefox you're using. You need to update to 1.5.0.2 if you're using anything older than that (including basic 1.5). Until you can update, turn off Javascript.

78. 20 inches!
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 08:16 PM by Patsy Stone
The baby is 20 inches! And that guest he had on, "Keith, I'm glad you're treating this with the respect(?) it deserves." LOL!

But he said "binky" again. Aww.

83. This was a great show.
Started out with that fine Carl Bernstein interview (do you think it will really happen? Do you believe???) and ended with all the TomKat jocularity. Too bad they didn't update us on the fate of the placenta, though.

The biggest laugh Keith got all day was on Dan's show, which Dan was hosting live in a sports bar-restaurant in Dallas today. Dan brought up the issue of Tom Cruise claiming he planned to eat the placenta (yes, this is the kind of thing they talk about on Dan's SPORTS show), and someone pointed out that Live had a song a few years back ("Lightning Crashes") with the line "the placenta falls to the floor" in it. Keith then quipped that if the placenta falls to the floor, maybe no one should eat it after all...but then again, it IS supposed to be a clean room, right? "Does the five-second rule apply to placentas?" You never heard a room full of sports guys laugh so hard in your life.

84. There was a skit
that never made it onto SNL. It was called, "Placenta Helper". All day, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's in this book, one of my favorite possessions:

I do believe. I never stopped believing. :hi:

87. That skit DID air.
I was with a group of friends, watching when it came on. The "ewwwwww" factor was off the charts.

96. Really?
In the book it has a "Censored" seal and an X in purple crayon with the word "cut" over the whole thing. The credits for writing, btw, go to Franken & Davis. :hi:

97. I think there were certain lines censored.
Believe me, when you've seen "Placenta Helper" live on Saturday Night, you DON'T FORGET IT. Especially with Gilda Radner.

I haven't read the book. Didn't realize they had one of the old scripts. SNL never was the same after those first few years.

There was also one about confused alpaca farmers, but I forget the exact wording.

Oh god, we need a  that includes tears.

92. I didn't think 20 inches was unusual.
Heck, the munchkin was 19, despite being a month early. Now that the baby's hatched, Keith, can we STFU about it? I overloaded on this crap months ago.

93. It isn't.
But at that point in the story he was already bored of it and he said it like "here's another bit of info I'm supposed to pass on".
