The DU Jewish Group is for those who wish to hold respectful discussions of Judaism's beliefs, share faith experiences, discuss anti-Semitism, post prayer requests, discuss Jewish faith, traditions, religious heroes, etc., talk about Jewish education or organizations, or in any way positively explore issues having to do with Judaism. This is also a place to discuss issues such as holiday preparations, food, and other fun things.

Participants need not be practicing Jews but should be respectful of the beliefs and structures of the religion, especially in advocating any changes in religious practices.

This group is intended to be a venue for those who desire to discuss stated topics and is not intended as a forum to argue against Judaism or the State of Israel.

We welcome discussion about Israel and her role in the world. However, this group is not intended to be a place to "rally the troops" for a posting in the Israeli/Palestinian Affairs forum, nor is it intended to take the place of the Israeli/Palestinian Affairs forum. As per DU rules, bigotry (anti-Jewish or Anti-Arab) will not be tolerated. Discussions about Israel and her relations with other Arab nations should be respectful.
