I'd never heard of it. Not that I would have been allowed to participate. My folks wouldn't even let me go on a class trip to Spain because I spoke fluent Spanish and thought I'd never come back. :)

4. actualy the isreal thing is just one of their programs

when I went to Isreal I didn't go with NFTY. It's a nation wide youth group that has conventions bothe regonal and national. I only went to those with in my region: MAR Mid Atlatic Region, and is the best damn region in NFTY.

7. LOL. My son and I are discussing "which is better" right now...

We weren't affiliated with a shul when I was growing up, so BBYO was a good fit for me. And, he's heard my BBYO stories and thinks they sound cool. But, if he does NFTY, he'll be with the kids he already knows at our temple, which is good, too.
