Early diabetes symptoms?

I AM seeing the doctor tomorrow, but is excessive liquid drinking, excessive peeing (once every 1.5 hours), (somewhat rapid) muscle fatigue, and perceived weight loss be symptoms?

(my scale is unreliable, and apart from my belly I do appear to be losing weight... but in 6 weeks I shouldn't have lost the ability to use the exerciser for 10 minutes straight without cramping...)

Or could some of these be symptoms of something else?


(I have always had weak legs; going back to early childhood development, if not because I was 3 months premature - one doctor also thought I had MS (I didn't).)

I think the root cause has to do with not sufficiently exercising, and I have already re-started my exercise routines because I've got to get better.

Could be diabetes mellitus OR insipidus, kidney issues, etc.

The cramping and weakness are likely caused by your dehydration and electrolyte imbalance from the peeing. This is a dangerous situation that needs to be checked out by a doctor immediately.

2. Yes, can't think of something else that includes your s/s.

The Doc will request a glycated hemoglobin/hbA1c or A1C be drawn, it will give info on what your blood glucose has been doing for the past 2-3 months. Yes, you describe typical diabetes symptoms. Good luck, take care. You will feel better with proper care.

Maybe he hadn't told us what happened at the docs office because he couldn't, but I just saw him over on the GD board, so maybe he just doesn't want to talk about it.

I haven't officially heard back yet, but I did do a couple glucose tests on my own and they are still normal.

I suspect the bloodwork that had been done (the tests already stated) came back normal as well.

I should call back and get a proper physical...

Test your blood glucose 60 minutes after you have eaten, it shouldn't go over 125, better still less than 110. It is good to hear that the tests are normal, but what about your symptoms?

I have diabetes. These are not early symptoms, but symptoms of the real thing. Of course, you need to be seen by a doctor (blah blah blah so DU won't get sued...).
