I searched, but don't find that this site as been posted here.
http://ratemds.com/

I was just talking to my sister & she told me about her latest horror story with a stupid doc.(Actually two of them.) I told her to be sure to post it at ratemds.com & let others know so us unsuspecting patients can avoid the fifty percent who graduated at the bottom of their class. She had never heard of the site & promised to post her experiences.

The more ratings the better, IMO. If there's only one review & it's bad I'm not really sure if it's the patient, or the doc was having a bad day (even the best of them do) or what. If a doc gets lots of great reviews & one bad, or lots of bad & one good, it's easier to put it in context.

2. That's cool
But I'm skeptical, having been on the "rated" end of "Rate My Teacher". Someone has a bad day, or PMS, or whatever, and zap! you get a bad review.

Admittedly, this is different because with RMT, the people giving ratings are children (and I consider anyone under 18 a child <grin> ). Thus these children, particularly the younger they get, have skewed points of view based on their level of developement.

3. Very true. When there's only one or two reviews,
whether glowing or bad, it's hard to judge.

Even if there are several reviews it doesn't always mean they're accurate. The doc could have had his staff write up some glowing reports to offset the bad. Though after looking at a lot of them I've figured out that if the doc gets a 5 for promptness it's probably a staff review. When was the last time the doc saw you right on time? I figure if she's only 30 minutes late it rates a 4.

But, the more reviews the better, IMO.

4. Only one of my docs is there.
I just gave her a good rating. She's an excellent GP. I'm surprised that none of my specialists were listed though.

5. It's patient driven. If no one has rated the doc, than
they're not listed. You can add any doc you want.

My derma isn't listed. I'm waiting until I complete the series before I add him. So far, I'd give him 5s across the board. Can you believe a doc getting a 5 for promptness?
