'Congestion' issue.
Seem to have 'stuff' in my head, usually not problem. Only headache I ever get is due to this, and only occasional. Used to take 'reds,' that is, pseudephedrine. but thats off the market now, right, so they've concocted something else, phenylephrine hcl. Took some, and seems to cause (or aggravate) the wobblies. Could live without this!

Suggestions?

Thanks

1. Ask your doc about
loratadimine

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loratadine

Also known as claritine. One pill, and I am good for 24 hours.

3. Sudafed is still sold, only behind the counter...
In fact, as one who suffers along with her husband with inflammatory conditions that are sinus related, my husband and I have to take "turns" going to the pharmacy and providing our driver's licenses (feeling like pseudo-criminal, would-be meth lab suspects) when we purchase yet another pack of 96 pseudo-ephedrine every month.

This, plus ibuprofin sure help the stuff in our head. I'd rather stay away from Claritin, truth be known, I think it's more problem then it's worth.

4. Thanks, MrMM; found it some time ago, behind the counter!
Carry it with me now, as I always did!

PS Pharmacist agreed that the 'other' stuff is not the same/as good.

5. Good for you!
I think our sinuses are taking more and more beatings from the output of our dear mother-nature! May we BOTH survive! :-)
