The Yankees just bought what, the 4 most expensive players in MLB?
If they were any other large corporation, I might call for them to be broken up. But somehow it doesn't bother me as much in baseball. Probably because the Yankees have been less than successful with all their big spending, and also because I support other large-payroll teams.

The fact that taxpayers are helping buy them a new (money-making) stadium is a travesty, though.

1. all taxpayer funded stadiums
are a travesty. I say this as a Yankees fan. Of course, I helped build two football stadiums in Maryland and it pissed me off.
