1. This is the kind of question I like.

It's also one of the hardest to answer.
Dead ball v lively ball, and every other time era v the other.
Every time I think I know who is the greatest catcher or short stop or pitcher of all times, I find another greatest catcher, short stop or pitcher of all times.
How do the Cy Youngs, Mordecai Browns stack up to the Dizzy Deans, Satchel Paiges, and Andy Coopers?
Different times of course, but like Tom Seaver once said, when it gets to that level does it make a difference? Good question, but one that I can't answer.
