Baseball Forever: Reflections on Sixty Years in the Game by Ralph Kiner
Former baseball player and broadcaster Ralph Kiner reflects on his friendship with Hank Greenberg and Desi Arnaz (!), his year chasing Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson and integration, hitting and game strategy, Stan Musial, Willie Mays, broadcasting, and many, many other aspects of the game.

Though some, including this reviewer, will find his admonishment of steroid use somewhat lacking, it's still a worthwhile read. Recommended.

1. Thanks...
I'd be interested to read his side in the battle against Branch Rickey (who thought Kiner was worthless as he tried to re-invent the Pirates)
