Joe Morgan fired
Former Cincinnati Reds second baseman Joe Morgan's contract will not be renewed as an announcer for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball -- http://joeposnanski.si.com/2010/11/09/farewell-joe-morgan/?xid=cnnbin&hpt=Sbin

Jon Miller is also leaving the Sunday night broadcasts, although ESPN says they may continue using him on radio or other TV broadcasts.

I know Morgan has his detractors, but I always liked him as an announcer. And I loved the Morgan-Miller team. I'll miss this tandem and hope they get to work together again in a different context.
