Gaining confidence in my O's back
Edited on Fri Apr-29-05 07:38 PM by JohnKleeb
:) I got a feeling this is gonna last, this is their best start since the year they went wire-wire and were two games shy of the series. Oh please let this be our year to return to October.

1. I can fully throw my energy behind that!
Of course I am for parity in baseball too! :D

Hi Kleeb, have you recovered from the Boston meetup yet?

3. If the Red Sox have to be in second place...
I'd rather be chasing the O's than the Evil Empire. If your boys can keep it up you're well on your way to an incredible season.

4. I agree---I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Os.
If I didn't live in New England, they would probably be my team, but regional pride demands that I stay faithful to the Sox.

Baltimore had some incredible teams from the mid 60s and all the way through the Earl Weaver era, with more than their share of Hall of Famers. Somehow, through those years, they managed to field a winning team without all the condescending arrogance of a certain New York AL team. ;)

5. Ha thanks, same to you btw
If I were from Massachuetts, Rhode Island, or New Hampshire, I would be a Sox fan, and my dad met one of the best sox ever, Ted Williams.

6. Besides with the Yankees out of the picture
Everyone wins.....ok except for the Yankees :D. Seriously though dropping 2 out of 3 to Tampa Bay is not a good sign espeically in your home park, it didnt help also that they allowed 10+ runs in two of those games.

8. Losing 3 of 4 to Tampa Bay must mean something
Especially in your own ballpark. I knew this would happen eventually btw, this is 40 years after the decline that began after the Stengel years of the late 40's and 50's and early 60's.

9. 22-11 going in to Chicago tommorow woohoo
Sure the Yankees have a five game winning streak but does that mean we're slowing down, not at all.

12. yes we will
the american league east is going to be very competitive this year, at least that's the way it looks now. they might not get the wild card out of that division because of the way they beat up on each other. one favor from the orioles, if the yankees can't win it, BEAT THE RED SOX. LOL. but it's along season.;-)
