Are they dismantling the Braves
a la the semi decadian Florida Marlin firesales?

I see that Rafael Furcal is going to the Dodgers, is anyone else leaving?

1. What? I heard
that Chipper Jones signed a smaller contract in order for the Braves to be able to hold onto Furcal. Now he's going to the Dodgers?

4. they are retooling
they always keep who they need to keep and promote their top young talent instead of keeping older overpriced talent. They have a very good model.

5. Similar to the Twins model
except that the Twins never have the money to keep the young talent once they are superstars.

10. yeah
right about Hunter. That was pre cba. Santana was definitely post CBA. Of course, Poliad is one of the richest owners in baseball. He should build his own stadium and watch the franchise take off.
