Hello Friends! On this Mothers Day

I can't help but think of all of you who have (like me) lost their Moms. May the memories of love and happiness you shared stay with you forever.

As long as they live in our hearts, they are never forgotten.


I miss my Mum and just for one minute I'd love to see her again to let her know how much she was/is loved.


I hope this is a happy Mothers Day for all of us.

(Way belated thanks, obviously, as I haven't been on DU in months).

My mom died March 11 and I had two miscarriages this year as well (Jan. 1 and March 12 - yes, the day after my mom died). Needless to say, this Mother's Day was not terribly fun, although my husband took me out for a nice dinner and we made the best of it.

Your beautiful line, "I miss my Mum and just for one minute I'd love to see her again to let her know how much she was/is loved" - omg, I was crying earlier (it comes and goes) and it's so weird, because I said that very same thing.
