DU may be shutting down some under-utilized groups. If you want this one

to stay open we need to make sure that the admins know that even though it is slow moving it is performing a vital service to DU members.

I also suggest that when we see posts in the Lounge about people losing a loved one that we remind them that this group is available to them by posting a link to it along with our condolences.

but I never really wanted to be an official facilitator, just another person who comes in to use it when I need it. :)

3. They started threatening this months ago.

I haven't seen them delete anything yet.

There are groups that are doing worse than this one. There are several that have posts by me, and then weeks later, I'll be the next one to post something else. It sucks, but it's great to have the archives sorted by category. It would be a mistake for them to start deleting any of the groups.

I don' know what goes on over there in Admin land, but I think they would need to draw straws to see who "pulled the plug" on the Bereavement group - pun intended.

4. I still come here every day

I never say anything but it always makes me feel a little better in my VERY stressed out life right now to know that others are here and coping so I know I can do it too. Thanks guys.
