Just checking in to say that
I am finding the anti-depressants to be helpful. Am still overeating too but at least I am not as down as I was before.

I have seen and heard my mom often lately because we have been moving old family videos over to DVD. That's been pretty nice and it gives the boys a chance to remember her too. The only tape I haven't been able to bring myself to watch is the one I made that last time we were together; I don't want to hear her saying she's not feeling well. :( I would rather just watch the tapes of family get-togethers where everyone was just having a lovely time hanging out with each other. :)

1. I have one video of my mom and I cherish it!
 I'm so pleased that things are better for you and that you have these wonderful memories on tape for you and the children.

Take care!

3. Just found this forum and thus your posting
I'm glad that you have the videos and they help to remember the great times you had. I have many photos of my folks and they help a lot. To see them at family gatherings or just in their early married years with us kids at the beach and such. Even though it's been five years since mom died, I have to remind myself to let her memory make me feel warmth and strength. With each passing year, it gets easier to take my advice to myself. Time seems to be the key.
