164 Wet and Wild miles in Ohio
(Cross posted in the Photography group where I spend most of my time - Bvar22 suggested folks here might enjoy it, as well)

~2000 riders for Pedal to the Point (Cedar Point amusement Park) - August 19-20, one of the many MS 150 rides (National Multiple Sclerosis Society). This one turned out ot be an MS 164 miles due to an unexpected 6 mile detour each day (on top of the slight mileage inflation MS always does accidentally).

The Wet:

After 12 miles in the rain. (My steady steed was wounded before the ride even started - my right armrest pad (left, given the image perspective) blew off on the way to the starting line - Duct tape to the rescue!)

13 miles later - the rain is finally slowing down:

Lunch!

Mid afternoon snooze attack

A million bucks, or so:

Drying out overnight

Wild! (NOT)
Bedtime for tired bones (~5:30 pm)

Snack Attack! (Literally - breakfast is thrown at you]

Rest Stop #1, Day 2 (always gorgeous)

Spent too much energy fighting headwinds the rest of the 86 miles in Day #2 to get any more decent pictures :(

2. Kudos!
Great Ride for a Good Cause.
Good Pics too.
Thanks for sharing them here.
Your pics give me motivation to go crank out more miles!
165 miles in 2 days is a little beyond me now, but I'm getting better.
:patriot:

3. I'm sure you could make it...
As long as you have a decent bike and can go 20-25 miles in one sitting its not a bad ride.

I'm a lazy rider - if I can do it, its relatively easy. Pretty flat with a few rolling hills that (with one exception) start at the top, dip down, and then back up (I coast most of the way up the hills).

AND - if the rolling hills are too much, there's Bike to the Bay (Toledo to Put-in-Bay), which is 150 miles of riding on a pancake (and you still get pancakes flying at you for breakfast!).
