Biked home from work today! 26 Miles!

Felt really good, strong - until the about 2/3 the way up each of the hills that is! LOL!
Took just under two hours, and suprisingly the traffic out of Cville and on Old Lynchburg was not that bad. A couple vehicles passed way close but most were courteous.
Was going to slug out of the ride but a co-worker had decided to try HIS first commute this afternoon too - and was hoping to ride with us out of town. As always - once on the bike all was good!

Absolutely GORGEOUS weather today too - always a bonus! I'll take a camera next time HappySlug, and post up some photos!

1. Don't bring up bad memories.

When my bike was stolen, my Camera was in the handlebar bag. It was NOT a SLR, but I liked it and it took good pictures.

Probably by the end of next month when I bring my bills up to date, I get myself a new Camera. My sister has a Canon SLR with a zoom lens, so I get myself a Canon so I can use the same lens if I want to.

Thus I will not be able to post pictures for a few months.

i didn't read that your bike had been stolen til after i posted.... Then i read the "looking for happyslug" post....

i didn't mean to rub it in in any way - i was thinking only of posting pictures because i have so enjoyed your photos..

4. thanks - the length is why i'm only biking HOME

the trip in is actually a lot easier (downhill more than uphill cuz going from the foothill of the mountains eastward) BUT if I were to do that ride i would be asleep at my desk for most of the day.... LOL!
