Woohoo! I just picked up a new road bike
CDale Synapse 2 Carbon 53"

Finally, a bike that fits! And unlike my old straight-bar Alu R300, it absorbs bumps and cracks instead of sending them directly to my wrists and back

:bounce: NO

YES

Also got a new helmet, wow they've come a long way in 10 years, it also fits so well :+

2. Yep, that's precisely what's sitting 6 feet away
save for pedals, a bottle holder, bottle, and rear blinking light

3. If it was a 58 or 60 cm I would asking for your address, I could use a new bike.
Seriously, how much did you pay for it $3000??

4. Not an SL2
Just a '2'

And it was $2100

I do have an old R300 that's a larger size I need to sell, not sure of the size, but it's always been far too big for me at 5'6"

5. I'm 6'2", so I go for the larger size bikes.
But I'm riding a 23 inch CAAD, which is 2-4 inches to small but I've made "adjustments" i.e. longer seat post and taller headset, but I do need road bike that is closer to my size, saw a "large" model Touring bike at one local bike shop for $1500, one of these days I cam doing to buy it.

8. I just did
my average speed has plummeted since the last time I really rode - ouch it's been 30 months, but now that I'm on a bike that fits I'm not in nearly constant pain :bounce:

( I even purposely ran over some sewer grates just to feel the bike soak them up, a sublime experience )
