Has anyone taught a dog to walk with their bike

I have a three wheel recumbent, it's the only bike I can use with my back. I am in the process of adopting my three year old foster springer and would like to take him with me biking. I don't go far but it would be good for him to come along with me.

BTW, what recumbent do you have? I have an EZ1 (Easy Racer) LWB, and a delta trike (EZ3) that I use for errands, and keep a trailer attached to it.
