Day 1 1/2.
With the recent 70-cent increase in cigs here in Ohio, I decided the time was now. It's not like I haven't done this before, but it seems especially tough since I am also dieting.

1. Good luck
Day three for me. Have you tried www.quitnet.com? Some useful stuff there, and most of it is FREE.

3. I slipped after 5 days and smoked last night.
I was so stressed out and now I feel guilty. Does anyone else experience moments of depression since you've quit?

4. 5 days is good practice
The most important thing is to keep trying.Quitting smoking is a big deal, from what I have experienced and seen in others. Please don't feel guilty,on the contrary be happy that you are trying! It can be a very painful process, quitting smoking.Remember it is a process.Quitting can include smoking,in that you quit again after you slip.Read the posts in this group, most people quit more than once.:7
