quitting when you live with a smoker
has anyone quit/tried to quit smoking while living with a co-smoker who does not care to quit? i've tried to quit before and know how difficult it can be to resist the craving - how in the hell will i be able to resist when there is a pack of smokes and a lighter within reaching distance????

would the zyban/wellbutrin be effective in this situation?

thanks in advance for any thoughts/help/insight.

1. How's it going?
This has become a very very quiet forum. But it has been a big help to me in the past. I live with a nonsmoker so I didn't have to face your issue, but I know how hard it was for me just with coworkers. "You can smoke one of mine. I won't tell anybody." I know people do manage it. My aunt did. If you search earlier threads I remember someone who took Welbutrin said they just lost interest in smoking.

Backsliding would be a real temptation for me in your situation. I do mostly pretty well, but if I had easy access at the moment a craving was strongest, who can say what would happen?

I admire you for going after this goal and I wish you good luck and strong will.
