Checking in to see how all recent quitters
are doing.I'm on my fifth day and it still sucks.I can't help to want a cigarette at certain times after meals,reading DU.Anyone else still having problems?

1. Today is day one for me... again
It's going to be tough to make it though work. But I'll make it.

I'm growing tired it "trying" to quit, so I think this is the time.

2. Keep working at it I'm
almost done with the first week of torture.It took lot's of tries to get the first day in.That's the hardest part the first couple of hours the first day.

4. 3+ weeks here, and it DOES get better
I find myself thinking about smoking less and less, but it's still there, especially in the morning and after meals, and whenever I sit at this PC. But these cravings are more institutional memories than actual cravings, if that makes any sense. And they go away pretty quickly. I chew lots and lots of gum, the regular kind.

I hope you're making it, and I wish you continued good luck.

5. The sitting at the PC
is the worst.followed by driving and using the bathroom.

6. tommorrow will be 6 weeks for me
i'm very happpy to say that. but it hasn't been easy.
been staying in a bit too often, and the occasional hit of weed is kinda torturous.
my allergies have been awful and i don''t feel one bit healthier.
but it'll get better, the last week was the easiest ever.
