What about getting cranky?
I'm determined to quit. Now living with a friend who doesn't smoke in the house. So, I'm already cut down to about 25% of what I was smoking, on most days. One thing I've noticed is that the physical craving is way less than the mental obsession. Haven't figured that out yet. But, the other night I also noticed I was extremely cranky. Impatient and short tempered. What can be done about that?

3. Lower your caffeine intake
A lot of the effects of caffeine are blocked by nicotine. if you are taking in less nicotine, you are getting way more caffeine than you used to get.

5. Hi Why!
I recall when I quit because I was pregnant with my youngest (age 40) I constantly craved oranges. I always kept them in the house. I would cut them into eighths and just eat them off the peel!! At the time I thought it was a "pregnancy" craving, but perhaps it was to replace all of the vitamin C that the cigs were robbing from my body! I'd try some if I were you. As far a being cranky? IT GOES WITH THE PROCESS !! My kids are all glad that I'm quiting finally, but they are MORE glad that I live alone, and they don't have to be around me. Just go take a deep breath of fresh air and clear your mind. This too shall pass !! OR... try sucking on a lollypop??? Maybe.......
