I have 5 acres on the west coast of Florida I want to sell. No house, lots of trees, nice subdivision! I have a For Sale By Owner sign on it, but most people are thinking the price is lower because we are selling it ourselves. We're asking about $10,000.00 less than the going prices there, but since we already own a home here this property is subject to capital gains and there is no deduction we can take for anything.

Ebay has a special real estate area. Not sure of the rules for real estate or how much you pay after you have a bidder. Decide on what price you are willing to pay. You can ask that or have a lower price and a reserve price for your asking price.

If you do a google or yahoo search, I'm sure you'll find other sites. Most charge a fee.

Someone had told me there was probably something on the Internet, but I thought I would check in here before I went to lots of trouble.

I tried getting into some real estate places and if you're not a Realtor... well you can't get in.
