So I finally switched to bonds |
|
my 401K was 90% stock and as I am moving closer to retirement I knew that I needed to change. Started thinking about it in June and by the end of July the market of course, was going down.
So two days ago I finally moved to 76% stock, 8% money market and 16% bonds (short and intermediate terms) and what happens? The bonds go down.
Sigh.

2. Thanks. I will have to |

We just cannot afford to have that long time horizon that we had back in 1987 or even in 2002 when we could wait for the market to rebound.
