How about some pictures? I have a few good ones so I will post one now. I don't have too many but love to see pictures that people have taken of storms. Here is one from about 50 I took last year when we had a big outbreak of tornados. Just clouds, no tornados, they came down about 5 miles from my house.

1. This was one of the May 4 , 2003 Supercells
This was the one that spawned an F3 that hit Battlefield, MO about 40 miles away.

I was watching the reports on tv and trying to take pictures from my yard.

That was a freaky weather day.

2. Beautiful!
I love these kinds of pictures. Look at those clouds. Nothing like a little rough weather to show you how small you are. I feel the same about the ocean, Great shots.

3. Dangerous too
It was clear and calm outside when I took those. Forty miles away under that cloud was a tornado that was tearing up a neighborhood and taking a life.

Thanks Muse. This is prime spring outbreak time. For about the next month. I need to charge my camera battery.

I live in Maryland and we don't get many tornados here, but we do get some wicked thunderstorms.
