The most snow I've ever seen.
Edited on Sun Jun-19-05 08:03 AM by mutley_r_us
A few days before the start of summer seems as good a time as any to post this picture. It is a little blurry because it's a picture of a picture, lol. And you can't really tell, but it's still snowing in this shot.

This storm was in February 2003, and for Maryland, it was a hell of a snowstorm. I think it actually broke the record for most snow in one storm at about 26 inches in this shot, with variable depth around the Maryland area.

The plowing in the city sucks. My SO and I had to shovel our alley ourselves, a good 15-18 feet. And half the neighborhood had to come out and shovel our street. It was a lot of snow

There was so much snow that the roofs of several buildings in the state collapsed.

But I had fun for the most part.

5. I remember that storm when I lived in Boston!!
I got up in the morning and it was completely silent - all the cars were buried and there were maybe one or two cross-country skiers and a few people out with thier dogs (although they weren't getting very far!)

The fifth picture down looks exactly like my street after it was cleared. I love it when we get dumped on - I think, for a little while, nature puts man back in his place.

7. Ahh, beautiful
It looks so pretty. We didn't get any worthwhile snow this year. Maybe an inch or three max.
