Great weather today

A lot of people wouldn't think so, but it has been a steady rain and rumbling of thunder all day long. Hours of it. Not the typical thunder shower that moves through quickly and is gone before you get a chance to enjoy it. I love thunderstorms.

I do know that some others aren't as lucky right now. Lots of tornadoes today. Hope everyone is safe.

There are thunder rumblings to my southwest right now. I'm having website troubles so I can't post any pix.

I live about where the "r" is on Branson. Then, I went outside and took a picture of the storm to the southwest.

3. I am sick of being denied!!!

It has so far been a crappy April for severe weather here outside St. Louis. NOAA keeps promising, yesiree, but they have yet to come through with anything substantial. Today they're calling for an 80% chance of thunderstorms, just like they did a week ago, and sunshine prevailed. So until I hear the booms and see the flashes, NOAA is on my shit list!!!

Yesterday we drove from St. Paul MN through Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri and back to IL. NOAA promised severe weather the whole drive down... we got about 7 raindrops.

Most of our severe weather watches have been like that, too.

6. I know how you feel.

That was how my winter went. Promises of 6 or more inches and got none! Everytime they said it would snow, it didn't.

It's kind of that way with the spring storms. I'm kind of protected by hills from the major storms.
