OK, park your car (if you have one) under cover (if you have any) and enjoy the storm. Looks rocking! We had some beautiful red and pink-purple spots heading our way on the radar yesterday- got some decent rumbles, a few good claps and then the storm veered south. Missed us by *that* much!!!

Be sure to keep us updated! We are under a severe tstorm watch... a girl can dream, right?

2. Here's our most recent hazardous weather outlook...
THERE IS A MODERATE RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS THIS AFTERNOON
AND TONIGHT. A STATIONARY FRONT DRAPED ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI AND
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS WILL LIFT NORTH DURING THE EVENING. A LOW
PRESSURE CENTER NOW OVER CENTRAL NEBRASKA INTO NORTHEAST
KANSAS WILL MOVE EAST ALONG THE FRONT PULLING VERY UNSTABLE AND VERY
MOIST AIR NORTH INTO THE AREA.

WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH THIS EVENING WILL BE SUFFICIENT TO ALLOW
SUPERCELL THUNDERSTORMS TO FORM. VERY LARGE HAIL AND LOCALLY
DAMAGING WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG WITH ISOLATED TORNADOES.

3. Tornado watch here
but all the storms seem to split and go north and south of us. This is a pattern we saw for years as it got drier and drier. That broke last year but so far seems to be back. A real drag for storm lovers and a real drag for my pastures. Good luck, stay safe.

9. Are you eastern Kansas??
I've been watching tornado warnings in the southeast corner of the state. Several strong cells in that area.

10. Hi
yes NE Kansas, all the storms went North and South of us once again. I am sure hoping this pattern changes, it has been like that so far this year and years before it has been terrible. We are clear now until a chance on Monday.

4. It just missed me

It formed up in the eastern part of the county and they've gotten three inches of rain and have a flash flood warning. So far all we got is a couple of drops and no action.

5. I think it is heading my way.
Cells are popping up like mad, seemingly out of nowhere, on the radar screen. Hope the day gets more interesting- blue skies and sunny right now.

6. Heads up St Joseph and KC, MO
A POTENTIAL TORNADIC SUPERCELL WILL TRACK ESEWD ACROSS ATCHISON
COUNTY KS AND INTO AREAS BETWEEN KANSAS CITY AND ST. JOSEPH MO
THROUGH 00Z.

SRN SUPERCELL WITHIN AN ARC OF STRONG-SEVERE TSTMS WAS MOVING ACROSS
ATCHISON COUNTY KS AT 2145Z...HAVING MADE A DEVIANT RIGHT TURN SINCE
21Z. NEARBY LTH PROFILER SHOWED AROUND 142 M2/S2 0-1KM SRH FOR THIS
SUPERCELLS MOTION. GIVEN THAT THE WARM FRONT LIES ACROSS THE NRN
SUBURBS OF KANSAS CITY ESEWD INTO CNTRL MO...THIS STORM APPEARS TO
BE INGESTING PARCELS IN A RESERVOIR OF ENHANCED HELICITY. LCLS ARE
A LITTLE ON THE HIGH SIDE...BUT WITH EXPANDING ANVILS DOWNSTREAM...
BOUNDARY LAYER MAY COOL AND THE CLOUD BASES MAY LOWER THE NEXT
COUPLE OF HOURS. AS SUCH...THE TORNADO POTENTIAL IS INCREASING IN
AREAS BETWEEN ST. JOSEPH AND KANSAS CITY THROUGH 00Z.
OTHERWISE...POTENTIALLY VERY LARGE HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED...ESPECIALLY
SWRN BUCHANAN COUNTY MO WITHIN THE FORWARD FLANK OF THE SUPERCELL.

That would be the one they are talking about.

11. I went on a mission a while ago.
Thought I'd try to get some pictures of this one small cell that passed by.

Here is what it looks like on radar.

The little red spot on the radar southeast of Branson is what I took pictures of.
