1. Cornermouse... how close are you to Benton/Hickory County?
My grandfather's family all came from there (Carbaugh). But I don't want you to drive all the way up there if it's too far.

It may take a couple of weekends but it's not too out of range.

3. Yes, the last name is Carbaugh
Christian Carbaugh (m. Jane Cresswell b. Sep 17, 1825 in Indiana County, PA) was the first to come to the area in ~1870, and they stayed there until my grandfather's family left for California sometime in the 1930's. Most of them were buried in Jordan Cemetery in Hickory County.

Some specific things I've been unable to find are:

When were Rudolph (son of the Christian above) Carbaugh and Eliza Jane Eaton (born Sep 27, 1845 to Elizabeth Donahue? and Alexander Eaton) marry?

When did Rudolph Carbaugh and Eliza Jane (Eaton) Carbaugh die? It was after 1910, as I found them on that census in Warsaw. Where are they buried?

When did Eliza Jane (Eaton) Carbaugh's mother die? Her name was Elizabeth and from death certificates, her maiden name was Donahue or Donague. She was born around 1817 or 1818 in Tennesee. However, at the time of her death, she would have probably been Elizabeth Eaton. I don't think she remarried after her husband's death in 1865. I found her living with her on the 1880 census living next to her daughter, Eliza J. Carbaugh. By 1900, she was gone.
