I have had so much FUN doing all this. What really makes me sad is that the lady who wrote the newspaper article in the Beloit paper in 1937 that got me started on this whole quest is very poorly represented.
Her great granddaughter is very noncommittal about the whole thing. She sent me a little bit of information, but I have no pictures! New pictures are my favorite. After researching these folks for so long, I love finally seeing what one of them looks like.
I'll have my scrapbooks with me too. You can take a look at a few of the layouts if you want. I love seeing people go from only mildly interested to "WOW! HERE! Take all my information!" just from seeing them.
If you want to buy a copy, that would be really cool! I'd love to be able to place one in all the cluster cities where the family lived, but price is definitely going to be a deciding factor.
I think when I send out the information when I'm ready to publish, I'll find out if anyone wants to contribute an extra $5 here and there for sending to all the places. There are so many! The major ones are: Salt Lake City, the Calgary library, the Beloit library, the Clinton Wisconsin library, the State Historical Society in Madison, the Everett Washington library, the Vancouver library, the Pittsburgh library, one of the local libraries/archives in Western Maryland (probably Frostburg State University). There are so many! :silly:
I'll have my laptop with me on the trip too, so can get your numbers off there if I forget to put them in my address book before I leave.
