Eastern/Mid-Atlantic folks- Keystone stores?

Hi all--

Am trying to find out more information on Keystone Stores. We had a fellow that run one in Western Maryland, and soemthing made it sound like there were multiples of these. I ran into something online that said that Keystone was the company store run by the Sagamore Company (mining stuff), but that was in PA, and don't know if it was also in Maryland, or if only the name was the same.

Was this sort of a chain in coal-mining towns? Because that area of Maryland definitely fits the bill. Anyone know?
