And while I think her IWR vote was a mistake, I don't think it makes her responsible for the deaths in Iraq. IWR was not a vote for preemptive War. Bush broke the trust implicit in the resolution.

Hillary's 'mistake' was in trusting Bush, but she's not alone in having had that trust.

1. I wish she hadn't trusted Bush

I understand that she thought it was a vote to allow him some flexibility, while getting U.N. support. She was wrong, period. But then, a lot of other people were wrong too. But I'm looking at what she's saying today, most importantly about withdrawing the troops as quickly and safely as possible, and that's more important now.

As for being responsible for deaths, I think that statement by any Democrat, about any candidate, is reprehensible. Bush/Cheney are responsible for those deaths.
