Clintons' daughter stumps in Ashland, Ky., for mom

ASHLAND, Ky. - The venue was small, but the crowd was enthusiastic, as residents and Democratic political leaders welcomed former "first daughter" Chelsea Clinton to Ashland, Ky., Monday morning - a week before the Kentucky primary.

Clinton was in town to rally support for her mother, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is trailing Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination for president of the United States.

The tiny "Hillary" headquarters on Winchester Avenue was packed, and the crowd spilled out onto the parking lot, as Clinton spoke for less than five minutes, but signed autographs for close to an hour.... MORE
