where are the
"every vote counts" people?

where are the - count the popular vote, NOT the "representatives" vote. by most yardsticks, HC is winning except in the "we can do what the hell we want to "super"delegate camp. . .

wtf. I don't support her "just because she's a woman", but because I think she is the BEST candidate for the position. I like Obama okay, but I don't think he's quite ready to be President. I'll vote for him if he's the nom, but I won't like it much. Though anything is preferable to any republican.

I just think DC will chew him up and spit him out and after 4 years, the pubs will have another shot at destroying our country.

Anyway, I DO think it's misogyny that keeps MANY, albeit not all, people from supporting Hillary Clinton.

F it. Will it ever get better in this damn country?

1. I have thought the same thing about the popular vote people
myself, mzteris. Seems to me, if memory serves me, that in each of the last 2 presidential elections, there were many on this forum that were saying to count the popular vote, and to abolish the electoral college. Like you, I don't feel that Obama is yet ready to lead this country. If he is the nominee, I will vote for him, but he will not be my preference.

2. I guess for some, the popular vote only counts when it favors their candidate.
I share your qualms about Obama's elecability, also. He's been packaged and presented like a rock star and he gives an uplifting speech, but I don't feel like he tells you anything. He hasn't had enough exposure in national or international politics for me to feel comfortable about his experience. I also don't know if he will be able to stand up to the RW smear machine. I really feel that his chances of defeating McCain are slim.

3. Without a teleprompter he sure stutters a lot.
And he talks in platitudes when he is in front of a teleprompter.
