Hillary News Reported on MSNBC Today By Their Pollster
Edited on Mon Jun-09-08 07:18 PM by kelligesq
Discussion of latest polls took place on Tweety show tonite:
22% of Hillary Supporters will stay home and not vote
17% will vote for John McCain

That's 39 % of 18 million Hillary voters who refuse to vote for Obama.

the guy who does the maps of the states says in 5-6 weeks if Obama doesn't have a substantial bump of voters after being nominated, he will have to go to Hillary and ask her to be his Veep in order to bring on those votes and win the election.

He also says he expects it will fall to maybe 10% of HRC voters who wont vote for Obama, but that's still 1 mil 800,000 voters, more than enough to lose the election.

Apparently if Hillary voters continue to sit on their derrieres Hillary will have a greater chance of becoming Veep.

My suggestion is get a comfy cushion.

1. That's assuming it's in the interest of the nation and the party
(not to mention her own self-interest) to accept the Veep job. I'm inclined to think she should pass, but I'll defer to greater minds on this topic.

2. I think it's in the interest of the nation and
I dont give a damn about the party anymore.

Who was it who said " I didn't leave my party, my party left me" ?

4. 0oooh no - washing my mouth out with soap - but it is
an accurate quote - for me - first the party moved to the right - too far right-
and then it over-rides the will and votes of its members - nullfies their votes
by means of now not so secret Super Delegates and rules committees.

So now they get to lose 40 % of half their voters. :nuke:

Someone misunderestimated - ya think ?

5. David Gergen reporting the same thing on CNN - 2 points
difference currently between 0 and Mc. If 0 doesn't have 10 points or more over
Mc by August he should seriously consider Hillary as Veep who can bring those votes back.

I dont know that they realize how angry people are at the party (bosses and Super delegates) for forcing Hillary out within two days of his Super Delegate win and trying to force her out after every contest, even those she won.

IMHO he'd be better off offering it to her sooner rather than later. the longer he waits the more solidified in anger the women voters may be.

8. Link not working.
But if you mean this:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/jun/11/clinton.usa

I'd like to know, who's doing the censoring? Sure looks like another right-wing attack on the Clintons...or could it be coming from the B0 camp (sure wouldn't put it past them, since they've been acting like fascist leftwingers for a while)?

10. I don't believe your thinking is correct..
"That's 39 % of 18 million Hillary voters who refuse to vote for Obama."

Thats 39% of the people they called, NOT of 18,000,000 million people. If they called 18 million people, the numbers would be quite different, likely 95% of Hillary supporters won't vote for Obama. If they don't...He won't win!

Thank you for your concern
