OMG, I've been banned

from a Hillary Clinton site. (One I won't name.) I've never been banned from a site before so I'm kind of shocked.

But supporting Hillary was never supposed to translate into supporting the republican/McCain/Palin ticket for me, as it apparently has for some. It was never an option, and I said as much in a post, and then sincerely wished the other members good luck, and said good-bye. So they gave me the boot.

The site is no longer a democratic one, imo, so it's no big deal, but I'm still a little shocked.

I've been trying to get my membership deleted from one of these sites because it turned into a McCain/Palin site but with no luck.

there were people I had respect for and liked. I hadn't seen a lot of them since after the Palin announcement, so my guess is that they probably felt they way I did. But I still rather not say in public. I'll send you a PM.

I got thrown off a biggey "Pro Clinton" site (in fact I was surprised I lasted as long as I did) that has now become a cess-pit of hate and racism. Although it was always that in my view.

3. I think I know which one. I left it. Got fed up. Tried to talk sense into some after the primary,

but it was useless. I cannot imagine being that bitter. Or they really were not for Hillary or Obama.

4. I think that site has been fixed

The offensive ladies (who now I think were just McCain/Palin supporters in disguise the whole time) have left said forum and gone and made their own forum in Hillary's name (how embarrassing - the place has a picture of Hillary right next to Palin in the top banner)! The owner of the site I think you are talking about has now made it a Common Ground (all political affiliation type) forum which I think is a noble cause (though I miss the pro Hillary stuff!).

I got sick and tired of Hillary being used by extremists and created my own real Hillary supporters forum. It's for Hillary supporters that are actually *shock* LIBERALS....not for conservatives in disguise.

Feel free to check us out and join us when you aren't here at DU. I agree there is a sour taste from the Primaries still but we're trying to move forward and support both liberal causes and Hillary (as SoS!).

EDIT: It's a fairly new forum and I was shocked by the number of supposed Hillary supporters that didn't join because it was not pro Palin enough! So it's for real liberals...join up and help us get going.

But I rarely post anymore. To be honest, I was afraid to post here on DU because I took a long time to come around to Obama after the primaries.........and I was afraid to post at that other site because you weren't allowed to post anything in support of Obama there.....if that statement gets be banned there then so be it.

Personally, I don't like being told what I can or cannot post in regards to politics....so I've been hanging out mostly at my own board lately with occaisional visits here......My board's a general board and we have a pretty good Political Forum. There's quite a few nice people there and we welcome everyone. The link to it is in my signature line if any of you are interested.

first time I've ever been banned from anywhere - for making a single post that put forth the idea that voting for Obama (and this was post election) was a no-brainer.

That site changed into a McCain/Palin lovefest - with a lot of the members obviously being Repukes.

But I left after a thread praising something supposedly brilliant that Michelle Malkin had written. When you start reading stuff like that you know you've gotten lost and wandered into a bad section of the internet.
