Thank you, Hillary, for your hard work on behalf of Obama

As Bill recently noted: there has never been a candidate who lost the primaries and yet worked so hard to help the winner (except, of course, when a rival becomes the V.P. as Edwards and Biden did).

You have been a class act through and through. I am privileged to have known you a lot more than what I did before. Regardless of what others are saying - from the left and the right - you were a great candidate who would have won had you not have lousy managers and had your opponent not been the right person at the right time. I think that this is what the Super Delegates, who ended up making the decision, realized.

Yes, he started with "a speech" but he got better, thanks in no part to debating you.

And as the economy has worsen and so many people are in danger of losing their jobs and homes and nest eggs - many already have - perhaps "a speech" is what is needed. I was reminded of FDR comforting words when the country was in a worse condition than what we are now.

Perhaps these days we do need someone who can inspire, who can create hope. The next President will face many obstacles and only miracle may help him to steer the country out of this mess. And, no doubt, many will quickly be disappointed in him for not being able to wave a magic wand. But you will be there to help him with our endless gratitude.

I have tremendous respect for this woman and her unwavering solidarity with Obama over these last few months. It's unfortunate that not all of her fans expressed the same kind of solidarity.

Were treated to six months of shit sandwiches for their support of their candidate, on the allegedly left side of the 'net. Unlike Senator Clinton, her "Fans" don't have to publicly recover their reputations after having been falsely accused of racism and race-baiting by people touting their own superiority for backing a candidate who happened to be African American, all the while they astro-turfing about how the little missies ought not to vote with their vaginas.

8. I was just noticing

how, as Hillary supporters, we were expected to "just get over it" after the primaries and support Obama. I did. I voted for the guy and I actually always liked him. It was mainly his supporters that made me dislike him. Sure, the primaries get ugly and things are said but it's politics. I got over it.

So, we are supposed to get over the primaries, yet the Obama supporters can despise Hillary forever and accuse her of shit that is beyond crazy. A few years ago Bill Clinton was great, now he is the most vile piece of shit ever. When do these people have to "get over it"? Hillary and Bill Clinton are democrats that worked to get Obama elected. I believe they will support Obama in any way possible. Yet, to read DU, Hillary is so fucking vile that she would do anything and say anything to ruin Obama's presidency. She wants to take over the world. She is the worst democrat in the Senate. She should just freaking fall off the face of the Earth.

Once again, Obama's original supporters are making it really hard for me to like the man. I know they are not him but...

in retrospect it was more my problems with some of his supporters thank him. I took several breaks from message boards, and the longer I was away, the more I liked him.
