Right now, it is virtually mathematically impossible for Hillary to overtake Obama in pledged delegates. She would need over 58% of all future delegates, and that would mean well over 60% in Ohio and Texas, where she's currently below that and falling like a rock.

Therefore it appears the only way Hillary wins the nomination and overtakes Obama in delegates is if she can sway over his pledged delegates or the superdelegates turn to her in droves. Neither one is at all likely (especially the former), but assuming it does, are you happy? Do you want her to take the nomination so badly she has to do it through such underhanded non-democratic means?

I know a former Hillary supporter. He supported her for most of the campaign and voted for her. He still believes she'd make the best president of those running, but also believes she should drop out now since there's no way she can overtake Obama through democratic means, and doesn't want her to usurp the nomination in such a manner, which he also believes (probably correctly) would result in tons of Obama supporters staying home and a McCain landslide. He also doesn't want her dragging this out and that it's time to unite around Obama.

So do you seriously want the party to buck the will of the people and effectively just nullify the results and go ahead and anoint Hillary? That strikes me as no better than what the Supreme Court did in 2000.

The meme from this point on, it appears, coming from many of you Hillary supporters is that Democratic voters should be very afraid to vote for Barack! The reason? The Republicans "want" Barack Obama to run against. That's why they are voting for him! :scared:

It appears that many Hillary supporters are again attempting to take one of Baracks greatest strength and attempt to turn it into a weakness. You now want Voters to vote for your candidate, Hillary Clinton, out of fear that voting Obama will give the Republicans what they want.

You use absolutely no rationale as to why the Republicans would prefer the candidate who is currently beating Hillary Clinton. The candidate who has raised the most money in Candidate history, and who has fired up so many new voters.

Why don't you enlighten us and tell us why they, those mean ol' Republicans would "prefer" Barack Obama?

We would like to know the reasons why Obama would be such a "weak" candidate against Sen. John-25 years in the Senate - Keating 5- 73 years old Dinosaur- War hero- 100 years in Iraq - bomb bomb bomb Iran McCain.

I just replied to a thread where someone says DU is all lies... lies from the "Hillary people/Obama haters". I replied to not forget the Obama people/Hillary haters and the OP said, "I don't see Obama people spreading lies". (I don't know if I quoted exactly)

WHAT? Another person in that thread said when he/she opens DU it is a page of Obama smears. Are these people blind to all the Hillary smears? The lies about her? The threads whose sole purpose is to talk about hating Hillary? The misogyny?
