3. Downside of Obama Strategy

If Obama becomes the Democratic nominee but cannot win support from working-class whites and Hispanics, they argue, then Democrats will not retake the White House in November. "If you can't win in the Southwest, if you don't win Ohio, if you don't win Pennsylvania, you've got problems in November," said Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), a Clinton supporter.

Even some Obama advisers see a real problem. "Ultimately, all that matters is how the nominee stacks up against John McCain," said one adviser who spoke on the condition of anonymity, referring to the senator from Arizona and presumptive GOP nominee. "Right now, Barack is not connecting with the children of the Reagan Democrats. That's a real concern."

BO's strengths are caucuses and open primaries, where Repubs can cross over to hijack the votes and screw up the Dem primary process, throwing their support to BO, clearly the weaker candidate. Don't think they'll also vote for him in the same numbers in those red states in the GE.

6. I think Hillary will get Indiana too

Everyone I've talked to lately wants Hillary to get the nomination. Indiana is typically repug but with job losses and the recession admitted to yesterday by a Dem congressman working on property tax I think we will go Dem and for Clinton this time. She is strong irregardless of the idiots who jumped the gun and supported BO before the nomination was complete. Those idiots are a few unions and Democratic web sites which will never get another dime out of me, namely BUZZFLASH and too many more to mention here. GO HILLARY!

I've been so disappointed with so many of the so-called liberal groups and websites, who all got deluded by Obamamania, too, losing all their critical faculties in the process. Never really read Buzzflash, but have quit The Nation (which has become a pale shadow of its former self in the early 90s, when I used to subscribe to the paper ed.). MoveOn.org was another disappointment - basing their support of a supposed anti-Iraq War candidate on a mere speech he gave while not in the US Senate? And then there's Naomi Wolf, too?
